The Brass Cock at the Woodlands hotel is proud to be ‘the local’ for many people in the community. Carvery lunch is served from 12.30pm and a bar food menu is available from 4pm to 9pm. Children are welcome in the bar until 9pm. The Cellar Bar is available for private functions for up to 70 people. The Brass Cock takes its name from the deconsecrated old church adjacent to the hotel; the old brass weather vane is in situ to this day and can be clearly seen from the hotel.
