Terms & Conditions
A provisional booking of one date can be held for up to 14 days, after which time it is at the hotels discretion to release the date.
A non-refundable deposit of €1000.00 is due to secure the above date.
Not withstanding anything said or written or deposit paid, the booking shall not be deemed to have been accepted by the hotel unless terms & conditions have been signed and returned to the hotel.
Payment for the wedding package and bar extension must be paid 3 days in advance of the wedding date by bankers draft, cash or credit card. Payment of all outstanding items must be received by the hotel before departing. The cost of the bar extension is €500.
In the unfortunate event that the client requires to cancel a booking, the hotel will retain any deposit paid.
The hotel reserves the right to cancel an event in the following cases:
The hotel believes the booking might prejudice the reputation of the hotel.
Should guests attending the event behave in any way considered to be detrimental, offensive or contrary to normal expected standard of behaviour.
Any falsification of information will render the contract null and void. Deposits paid are not refundable in the event of a cancellation & cancellations made by the couple must be accompanied by a signed letter from both parties.
The hotel will not be liable for failure of any contracted supplier or business supplying goods or services to the hotel. The hotel will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing facilities, services, food or beverages as a result of events or matters outside its control such as acts of God or power failure.
Final numbers must be given 72 hours before your date. If the hotel does not receive final numbers 72 hours prior to the wedding, final numbers will be charged at numbers given on the most recent meeting with the hotel prior to the wedding. The final numbers will be charged for on the day except if the number increases, in which case the larger number will be charged for. Menu selections must be made six weeks prior to your wedding date.
If you wish to offer your guests a choice of starter, soup or dessert, an additional cost of €3.00pp will apply. The addition of a 3rd main course option is available at €5.00pp; these are added per person to the wedding package price.
No food or beverage items will be permitted to be brought into the hotel without the special permission of the hotel and the hotel reserves the right to make a charge for the service of same.
We offer a rate on corkage of €10.00 per standard bottle of wine (75cl), and €20.00 per standard bottle of champagne (75cl). This is not applicable when wine is included in the package.
The minimum number of guests required to book our Gaultier Suite is 120/150 adults for Friday and Saturday dates. Numbers less than 120 adults will incur a surcharge. Final numbers must be given 72 hours before the event & if submitting a table plan this must also be submitted 72 hours prior to the event. If the hotel does not receive final numbers 72 hours prior to the wedding, final numbers will be charged at numbers given on the most recent meeting with the hotel prior to the wedding.
The bride and groom can book the requested amount available at time of booking and paying deposit (subject to hotel availability) at our wedding discounted rate. If these rooms are not confirmed by deposit they will automatically be released 6 weeks prior to the wedding date.
The hotel accepts no responsibility for any entertainment not booked with the hotel directly. All entertainment including Bands & DJ’s and Artists must provide their own equipment and accept full responsibility and all risks associated with same. Strict compliance with hotel entertainment finishing times of bands & Dj’s etc… must be adhered to.
The hotel will try whenever possible to assist with the storage of equipment, personal property; wedding cakes etc… but accept no liability for any loss or damage. We advise the client to arrange adequate insurance. The customer also assumes responsibility to damage caused by them or other persons attending their event and undertakes to pay for the making of material damage to fixtures/fittings.
All details must be finalised at least two weeks before your wedding date. This includes menu choices, wine, all ceremony details, photography, DJ, accommodation etc... The sit down time for the meal shall be no later than 6.00pm; ringing the bell at 5.30pm sharp
